2-4 MAY 2027 | BERGEN
Welcome to the first European Conference on Functional Somatic Symptoms in Children and Adolescents.
The conference will take place from May 2–4, 2027, in Bergen, Norway — a beautiful city to visit in the springtime.
The scientific program will cover topics ranging from general understanding, epidemiology, and early identification of functional somatic symptoms to more specialized themes, including organization of care, cross-sector collaboration, assessment, explanatory frameworks, and treatment approaches.
The conference will feature plenary lectures, symposia, abstract presentations, and poster sessions. We are pleased to welcome keynote speakers including Professor Charlotte Rask, Professor Judith Rosmalen, dr. Karen Hansen Kallesøe, and
dr. Maria Pedersen among others.
The conference is organized in collaboration with the European Association for Psychosomatic Medicine (EAPM). Abstract submission will open in September 2026.
We look forward to welcoming researchers and clinicians from across Europe and beyond, and we hope you will help us spread the word so that we may bring together professionals dedicated to advancing the field of functional somatic symptoms in children and adolescents.
On behalf of the organizing committee,
